Never fear, the immortal Shiggy is here! =D (Shiggy = Shigeru Miyamoto)

Thanks to our friends over at Sickr, I’ve been informed that Shiggy’s working hard on games for the Mario, Zelda, and Pikmin series. Let’s hope he excels his previous work!

Shigeru Miyamoto couldn’t make a good game if he tried–let alone try to design one. There’s no more classic quality in the games anymore. Its all graphics.

Comment by Shadow Luigi

We’ll soon see. He’s been promising new experiences. Let’s hope for the best, yeah? XD

Comment by mario64mario

I concur. Still, when they say “New experiences”, in other words, “BETTER GRAPHICS!!!”. That’s all that happened so far, why don’t they fire Satoru Iwata?

Comment by Shadow Luigi

I for one cannot wait to see just what Miyamoto’s magical mind can conjure up this time. Reportedly he was interested in pursuing a entirely new direction for the Zelda franchise, I’d love to see how that would pan out.

Comment by sickr

His “Magical Mind” will no doubt be filled with crud worth. “Graphic’s and Gameplay” are the only words buzzing through that old geezers head.

@ Sickr – I’ve got a lot of proof towards my theory; it will be first-person swordplay. I’ll write another article combining all of my info that proves this game soon.

@ SL – I know we’ve seen a rough year of games so far, but I’m not going to judge Miyamoto for the Zelda series just yet. TP was originally supposed to be for GC, but the was rushed onto Wii, so technically, it’s not the first TRUE Wii Zelda experience.

Comment by mario64mario

Yeah it is. They knew they rushed it.

Okay, I think its time for my input. Even though I don’t own Wii, still know things about it and its games (not as much as the next guy, but still). Now, correct me if I’m wrong but, I know that Miyamoto dose work hard on his game, and yes, he may be working a litle to hard with the graphic. BUT, his game play is still very good. He makes the game fun and he always has new ideas for each game.

Correction. All the games may appear to be “new” because as I have told you awhile ago, its common sense that games aren’t all the same. There will never be a game released that is the same as any other game. It is completely impossible. Lest they make copies but that is another story.

Personally, I don’t think Shigeru Miyamoto will have many interesting ideas.

Point I: If you look at older games such as Ocarina of Time or Mario Kart 64. Sure, the graphics weren’t “perfect’ in it. But I preferred pixel’s. Pixels reminded me back when games had plot, and a point to actually play it. If you look at games these days you might think to yourself, “Hey, the gameplay is awesome. But what am I actually doing this for…?” Precisely. The games have good gameplay, but are deeply lacking in plot to my point of view. And its not just my opinion, there are lots of people I know of that think this way. The newer the games get, the less of a quality they are. Heck, I miss the days when you could causally turn on your Nintendo unit and play classical games. They didn’t have pure graphics and gameplay, and the most embarrassing part of it is. Older games (Like The Legend of Zelda) actually entertain me more and give me more of an interesting feeling. Whereas Nintendo is dumbing down the games so little kids don’t get mad at seid games.

Point II: Also, did you hear what they did with the music? It now sounds like everybody is gathering in the scene to perform a huge orchestra. Which is totally pathetic because games aren’t rock bands or anything. They are also making games way to realistic. To the point that they aren’t “Video Games” anymore. They hype up how great their games are, yet, I hear so many complaints from people including myself. And honestly, I don’t think Nintendo is planning on making the games like they used to be.

Point III: As you may have heard in Point II of mine, they are also dumbing down the age limit for several reasons. A. Is for parents will think that the game is appropriate for their children, so they buy it equaling = Nintendo rips yet another family off. B. They are also dumbing down the games so kids don’t get angry at them. But games aren’t meant for little toddlers you know?

These are my points of view above Nintendo. I could probably do more but I do not feel as if I should say anymore then what should be said.

Comment by Shadow Luigi

I agree with the end of part I, and all of part II. It’s stupid of them to dumb down the difficulty. I hope they make the next Zelda difficult to the point where I get angry at it. I NEED A CHALLENGE!!! MUAHAHAHA! XD

Comment by mario64mario

Nice to know somebody acknowledges my opinion without flaming it. XP

Comment by Shadow Luigi

Well, I think that its fun for it to be difficulte, and I like (not in the point of time though) where I get (because like everyone said, there has to be a challenge), but there is also a time where there a easy bumps and hard bumps. Now, when I say this, I mean that when you first start a game, it should be quite easy (to get use to the controls), and that later in the game it should be difficulte (to a point where you do get mad). But when you get a new skill or a new weapon, or whatever it is, the game should be a little easier. I don’t mean easy like when you first start, I mean easy like you get use to the controls. I will explian more, but right now I’m being kicked off. Sorry.

Comment by Dragon Crash

yea, well any game should be easy in the first level. XD

Comment by mario64mario

Well, that gose without saying. But what I am saying is that igf you get a new ________ (fill in the blank), the game should make the monster, creatures, enemies, etc. easier. Not easy like in the first level, I mean easy as in you could kill the whatever in 4-6 shots. Just so you can ge tht efeel of the new item. Then once you have finished the whatever it is, the games gose hard again.

For example, if I got a new sword, text should pop up askinh if I want to go to a different level, world, etc. If I click yes, then my character should be warped to this new place filled with mosters, creatures, enemies, and you should be able to battle them and defeat them in a snap. Once you have gotten use toi these new controls, you warp back to were you started off.

Get it?

Comment by Dragon Crash

Always did. XD

Comment by mario64mario

That’s good to know. :D

Comment by Dragon Crash

As for those are the games that I just got done saying. They are to easy. You would actually need to obtain the sword; only if there was a catch to the whole thing. Such as fighting an over-leveled (or just plained strong) Boss that would be nearly impossible to beat. But if you say, do defeat it, the sword would make the in-game much easier for you at the time. If you play games like Final Fantasy or Golden Sun you would understand what I mean. But now these days you will never find anything like that anymore. Its rather pathetic to why they take out most Side-Quest’s because they are usually the things that make the games more harder. But Nintendo decided it was to “hard” for them to keep seid added bonus’s in, so they took them out!

(To those who don’t know what Side-Quests are, I shall explain. Side-Quest’s are quests that are not related to plot. Rather, they are related to say, recruit somebody, gain more power, get a stronger weapon to make the in-game plot easier, et cetera. You choose if you wish to go to the Side-Quests because the catch is, they are deeply rewarding, but extremely difficult to what you should be doing currently. Its a matter if your daring enough to accept such challenges.)

….this post has been here for quite awhile without a much needed response. When do you plan to write a new article Mario64mario—?

Comment by Shadow Luigi
